FRP Horizontal Tanks are a kind of horizontally placed FRP tanks having cambers at both ends and saddle supports in the middle part for large scale storage.

FRP Horizontal Tank, also called horizontal FRP vessel, is a device composed by seepage-resistant and anti-corrosive inner layer, firm structural layer, anti-aging outer layer, heads, nozzles, and saddle supports.

FRP Horizontal Tank Features:

Large storage capacity. Suitable for industries with large storage demands.
Great shear resistance. Filament cross winding is adopted for tank shell fabrication, which makes the tank shall have great shear resistance.
Free from wind load considerations. As the horizontal FRP tank has a better stability than the vertical one, therefore, the influence of wind load is not taken into consideration.

In most cases, the height of liquid column inside the horizontal FRP tanks is relatively low, according to GB 150 Pressure Vessels, when the liquid column static pressure is 5% lower than the design pressure, the liquid column static pressure can be ignored.
