We are specialized in the design, manufacture, installation and technology transfer of production guidance of potassium sulphate production equipment. Based on German Mannheim Furnace, by working over its principle and construction, we improve the construction and material of furnace to achieve even heating, complete reaction and low energy consumption. New material and technology is applied to the part of hydrochloric acid absorption, thus absorption efficiency is enhanced and environmental issue is also well resolved. We have several localized professional designers and groups of equipment installation, reactor piling up, process operation guidance with years of skilled experience, which guarantee smooth and stable proceeding of design, manufacture, installation and production guidance of the equipment.
This technology is currently one of the better methods for producing potassium sulfate in the world. Its core is a new type of reaction furnace produced by improving the structure of the Mannheim furnace on the basis of the dry roasting method to produce potassium sulfate. Combined with other special supporting equipment, it successfully solved the corrosion resistance under high temperature and high acid environment. Materials, as well as the technical issues of continuous feeding production. Compared with similar foreign equipment, its outstanding features are low investment, short plant construction period (four to six months), high degree of automation, reliable quality, high thermal efficiency, high product yield and good environmental protection effect. From engineering design, equipment manufacturing, installation to production process, product testing, the complete set of technology

Mannheim Process
The most common method of producing potassium sulphate is the Mannheim Process, which is the reaction of potassium chloride with sulphuric acid at high temperatures. The raw materials are poured into the centre of a muffle furnace heated to above 600ºC.
Potassium sulphate is produced along with hydrochloric acid in a two-step reaction via potassium bisulphate. This method for creating SOP accounts for 50% to 60% of global supply. The Mannheim Process is also the most expensive of the processing techniques due to the high input costs associated with purchasing MOP and sulphuric acid. This means that the final product costs about $500 per ton.
The Mannheim process is an important method for the manufacture of hydrogen chloride and potassium sulfate from potassium chloride (table salt) and sulfuric acid in which case the K2SO4 is known as salt cake: 2 KCl + H2SO4 → K2SO4 + 2 HCl
